Cape Cod, since 1980 (with a decade off to think about it)

Chandler Travis, Rikki Bates & Steve Wood play garage-pop, surf, and full-tilt dance-floor rock & roll — a band that's been described as "the Beach Boys meets the Who."

Cape Cod's Best Looking Band

Three Greats, no interest in slowing down.

Chandler Travis, Steve Shook and Rikki Bates started this thing in 1980. Johnny Spampinato and Aaron Spade carried it through more than three decades of Sunday afternoons at the Beachcomber. The band called it quits in 2013 — and then, in 2023, Chandler, Rikki and guitarist Steve "Woo Woo" Wood decided the dance floor wasn't done with them yet. The Invincible Casuals were born.
